This tree provides the structure of Functional Expense Category.
To view tree information, go to MaineStreet > Enterprise Applications > Financials, then go to Main Menu > Tree Manager > Tree Viewer. Enter "UMS_DEPT_F" for the 'Tree Name' and click 'Search'. Choose the tree that has the most recent effective date. The tree is updated annually on July 1st. Once tree appears, click "-" to expand the tree.
Four fields, UM_DEPT_EXP2, UM_DEPT_EXP2_D, UM_DEPT_EXP4, & UM_DEPT_EXP4_D, in UM_GLQ_REPRTING table are based on this UMS_DEPT_F tree.
The level of the tree corresponds to the field. For example, for the DEPTID=1000010, UM_DEPT_EXP2 is based on the level 2, and UM_DEPT_EXP4 is based on the level 3 of the tree. Since some DEPTIDs do not have all tree nodes, some fields are blank in UM_GLQ_REPRTING table.
