Each department should have a Library Administrator (Owner) and the administrator who is responsible for adding users or changing user permissions. 

Pre-requisites:

  • Library Administrator or owner of the library can change permissions.
  • The user needs at least "visitor" access to UMS Power BI HUB pageIf the user need the access to UMS Power BI HUB page, the library administrator should contact Power BI administrator(s).
  • If department needs to change their library administrator, please use this Request Form.

Grant access to a User Library on the UMS Power BI HUB SharePoint site

  1. Go to "User Libraries" by clicking on the left column. (The user libraries shown on front page will NOT work.)


  2. Click on the ellipses for the library and click "Manage Access"


  3. Click "+" next to 'Direct Access" on right column window.

  4. Enter the email address of the person or group you are adding. Choose access type (Edit or View), and click "Grant Access". If you check "Notify People", both user and you will get an email.
