DARTS : UMS Certified Reports

UMS Certified Reports have been through a UMS Data Governance process to verify, update, and document the data and coding within them. Click on the logo (example at right) in each report to see the details including the verification report and caveats.

Reports that carry the UMS Certified seal have the following characteristics:

1. Comprehensive documentation including:
   1. The report methodology (from extraction to analysis) is specified, and the report results are reproducible
   2. Context for the report is provided, including:
      1. Narrative purpose for the report, its use cases, etc. 
      2. Any special considerations that users should know about 
      3. Links to prior year reports, or prior term, etc. where applicable
1. Data quality and consistency issues, if any, are documented (whether for contextual understanding or for eventual modification)
2. The report has been validated by subject matter experts for:
1. Accuracy using appropriate data sources
2. Validity based on subject matter expertise and stakeholder input
3. All fields in the report or dashboard are defined in Data Cookbook
