This exercise will help you learn the functions of the PS query by modifying an existing query. You need Query Manager access.

Please use the query in CSPRD, UMS_DTS_DEMO and do these 10 exercises.

Exercise:


1. Log into CSPRD MaineStreet and search the query, UMS_DTS_DEMO. Click “Edit”.
2. Save the query as “UMS_DTS_DEMO_TEST” (as private)
3. Delete the “CLASS_NBR ” field
4. Change the column name: Change “Sum Progress” to “Credit hours” 
5. Change the order of the column: Move INSTITUTION to be the first column
6. Add new criteria: STDNT_ENRL_STATUS "equal to" E
7. Sort data: sort by SUBJECT then CATALOG_NBR 
8. Add prompt for “SUBJECT” with the "Optional" box checked
9. Run the query
10. Delete the query you just created
