JIRA Reference:   REPORT-279 - MaineStreet View For Translating Concordance for SAT score conversion Closed REPORT-379 - Change date range logic for UM_SAT_CONCORD Resolved

Report Purpose

SAT scores are a critical measure for admissions departments and a variable used in many student success measures.  This report translates Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores from old to new due to recent major revisions to the SAT made by the College Board. The scores are pulled from the UM_STUD_EXTRACT - Student Reporting Extract directly which show students with "old" scores, and those with the new scores if the student has them. Additionally, it creates the translation giving new score equivalencies to old scores based on SAT Concordance Tables.

Please note:

  • Returns registered students after Fall 2010 only
  • Blank scores do not return as null, but return as '0'
  • When the test date is after the census date of the term chosen, the scores are not included.
  • When old SAT Writing or Critical Reading is missing, the converted EWRS score is set to be 0
