There are two different definitions for cross-listed courses: intra-institutional and inter-institutional. Click here for the definitions, fields, and field values.

A new view, UM_CNS_RPT_VW was created in CSRPT for the following census reports. Please note that this view is very slow.

The following census SQRs have been updated to reflect the cross-listed credits:

The following reports have been recreated in Power BI, and reflect the cross-listed credits:

No changes have been made to the following reports as they do not report on credit hours:

Please note that individual queries inside of MaineStreet will not reflect cross-listed credits (mis-match between the above reports and your queries). DARTS can help with query modifications (DARTS@maine.edu). The query in CSRPT, UMS_DTS_CROSSLIST_LIST, can give the list of cross-listed course.

Important Considerations

The new reporting procedure is that the Host institution (the UMS institution hosting/teaching the course) receive the credit hours, and the Home institution (the UMS institution where the students' primary enrollment is) keeps the FTE and Headcount. This can result in two rows for each student enrolled in an Inter-institutional Cross-listed Course in some of the reports, such as SR_ENROLLMENT_BY_ACAD_PLAN.csv from the UM Enrollment Census Report. For Home institution data, student’s headcount and FTE have values, and credit hours is 0 for the Inter-institutional Cross-listed Course. Whereas, for the Host institution data, the headcount and FTE are shown as 0 and credit hours has values.

Similarly, SR_ENROLLMENT_BY_COLLEGE.csv and SR_ENROLLMENT_BY_ACAD_PRO_PRIMARY.csv from the UM Enrollment Census Report have added extra rows for Host institution data.
